Volunteer Eligibility

United States citizen or lawful permanent resident of the United States (i.e., green card holder)


Must be at least five years old


Volunteer must complete eligible service within 12 months (for annual Bronze, Silver, and Gold Awards) and over a lifetime (for Lifetime Achievement Awards)


The Bloc is only giving priority to volunteers that live in the State of Nebraska at the moment

Hours Required to Earn Awards in Each Age Group

President’s Lifetime Achievement Award:

Individuals who have completed 4,000 or more hours in their lifetime.
